2016 On-site Technical training Programme (OTTP) Sri Lanka jointly organized by National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage, Korea, Ministry of Internal affairs Wayamba Development and Cultural Affairs, Department of National Museums and Department of Archeology Sri Lanka from October 31^st – November 10^th 2016 at National Museum, Colombo, Sri Lanka. The participants for this workshop were twenty in number from Department of National Museums and Department of Archeology.

Opening Ceremony was held on 31^st October 2016 at the Museum Auditorium with the participation of the Additional Secretary (Cultural Promotion Division) to the Ministry of Internal affairs Wayamba Development and Cultural Affairs Ms. Pradeepa Serasinghe, Additional Secretary (Development Section) to the Ministry of Internal affairs Wayamba Development and Cultural Affairs Mr. Bernard Wasantha, Acting Additional Director General (Academic) to the Department of Archeology Mr. Prasanna B. Ratnayake, Director of National Museums Mrs Sanuja Kasthuriarachchi.

The workshop was coordinated by Ms Bonnie Lee and Ms. Tae Joung Choi, National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage, Korea

The workshop on Metal conservation conducted by Dr. Lee Jae Sung and Stone Conservation by Mr Lee Tae Jong, National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage, Korea.
