The two new galleries “Textile and Ceramic"....................................

The two new galleries “Textile and Ceramic” was opened on 17^th May 2013 at 6.30 pm in Colombo National Museum. Also there was a historical costume pageant from 7.00 pm – 8.00 pm under the theme of a “glimpse of the glamour of our glorious past”, choreographed by Senaka De Silva. Chief Guest Hon. Dr. Jagath Balasooriya – Minister of National Heritage, Guest of Honor, Mr.Patric Gallagher – CEO of  HSBC Sri Lanka – Maldives, Dr. Mrs. Nanda wickramasingha – Secretary - Minister of National Heritage, Dr. Mrs. Saroja wettasinghe – Acting Director – Department of National Museum and other distinguish guests participated to this glamour’s moment.
