The Gallery of National Engineering Heritage of Sri Lanka was Conceptualized & Developed by the Institution of Engineering Sri Lanka (IESL) and The Natural History Museum Colombo. It was opened by the Honorable Minister of National Heritage Dr. Jagath Balasooriya and the Honorable Minister of Power and Energy Ms Pavithra Devi Waniarachchi & the Secretary to the Ministry of National Heritage Dr. Nanda Wickramasinghe and other guests were also participated & graced this ceremonial occasion. Sampath bank is the main sponsor for this gallery.
