Colombo National Museum reopen for public.....

 

 

 

Colombo National Museum was opened on 6th February at 9.30 a.m. by Hon. S. B. Nawinne the Minister for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Wayamba Development and Cultural Affairs with the participation of Deputy Minister, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Wayamba Development and Cultural Affairs Hon. Palitha Thewarapperuma. It takes 200 million rupees for entire process.

Colombo National Museum was open for the first time on 01st January 1877 and this is the largest project of conservation which was going on under the Consultation of Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau (CECB) with the help of 6th Engineering Service regiment of Sri Lanka Army.

As well as, all galleries are open for public from 6th February 2017, in Colombo National Museum.
